Student, Parent, Educator Consultations

To enlighten, inform, advise and instruct others regarding NEPA AHEC programs, materials and resources, NEPA AHEC'S School Coordinator confers with students, parents, educators and/or community partners, individuals and/or groups in formal and informal settings. Typically, consultation topics include: health career programs, health career opportunities, approaches to community shadowing opportunities, grant opportunities, preparing college applications with health care components, preparing Governor's School applications, and available community services that promote NEPA AHEC'S mission. Other consultations with health science professionals at local colleges and universities expand and enhance NEPA AHEC K-12 pipeline endeavors.
2001 Exploring Careers in Health Camper is now a junior at Wilkes University in the Pharmacy Program. The student and her family continue to contact us for guidance and assistance with her health career journey.
