School Nurse, NEPA AHEC School Coordinator and students with Health and the Human Body Traveling Trunk

Health and the Human Body is an interactive activity trunk for students in grades K-8. NEPA AHEC put together these trunks with teacher lesson plans, books, puzzles, a student friendly microscope, stethoscope, a nutritional pocket chart, glow-germ hand-washing activity, health career puppets, etc., for principals, teachers, school nurses, school dental hygienists, librarians, etc. to use with students of all ages and in a variety of educational settings to promote health careers and healthy behaviors. Multiple copies of the trunks are used to accommodate the large geographic area that NEPA AHEC serves.

Two additional science trunks are also available: The Metamorphosis of the Silkworm and Water, Water Everywhere.
