Risk Factors

• Personal h/o BrCA

  • 3-4x _ risk of new BrCA (same or opposite breast)

• Race (White > AA)

  • AA higher mortality _ dx later @ more advanced stage; ? More aggressive ?
  • Asian, Hispanic, Native American: _ risk

• Previous breast bx

  • Proliferative Br dz w/o atypia/hyperplasia _ 1.5 ? 2x _ risk
  • Atypical hyperplasia _ 4-5x _ risk
