Kids Judge!Neuroscience Fair University of Scranton student presenters, with Dr. J Timothy Cannon, Neuroscience Program and Psychology Professor at the University of Scranton. Forty-nine Girl Scouts with their troop leaders also participated in the event. For the 10th consecutive year The Northeast PA AHEC co-sponsored Kids Judge! Neuroscience.

Every year the Northeast PA AHEC presents a graduating dental hygiene student from Luzerne County Community College with the Northeast PA AHEC Community Outreach Award. This award recognizes the dental hygiene student for accumulating the greatest number of hours dedicated to community outreach. The recipient has shown leadership and organizational skills in presenting dental health education. This year's recipient is Janice Mallaber.
